1. Create or identify the problem or question what God really said (Create the thesis-antithesis).
2. Take away freedom while at the same time convincing people that “we aren’t trying to take your rights”. Tell those that argue for freedom that they aren’t “loving their neighbor”. Won’t take a stand because “after all, we aren’t scientists”. Never mind that Peter speaks to the pseudo-scientific Zeitgeist of today operating under the guise of true science.
3. Call those who see the trap doors and direction things are headed conspiracy theorists.
4. Accept the changes the so-called elites want to impose (synthesis), and make statements or questions like “how is this going to work?” or “I’m not interested in opinions”. The problem is what you are really saying is “I’m only interested in the opinions of ‘elites’ or ‘experts’.” You want to listen to “scientific consensus” that has either been wrong or lied to you for the last two years (and most of the last 30 on various things) You then concede that freedom is not desirable, and elevate safety and security above it. You can never again reverse your thesis to Freedom without a harder fight.
5. Quit fighting, admit defeat and go on to the next problem the elites want to shift your ideological equilibrium on.
This, in a nutshell is why the Church has lost the culture war in every arena. The pagans browbeat you with “don’t impose your religion, you can’t legislate morality”, and other very simplistic arguments. The truth is they want to impose their religion on you; and all legislation is legislating morality and imposing it on some one. Humanism and Critical Theories are, in fact, a religion in every sense of the word, and both are wholly incompatible with Christianity.
The "Has God Said?" Method of Narrative™ Advancement:
I know the Bible and Jesus speak about literal creation, Adam & Eve, the institution of marriage, there is only one race, created from one blood, but… what about?
I know abortion is really baby murder, but… what about?
I know voting to steal from other people is against God’s law, but… what about?
I know the Bible lists sin “x” as sin, or an abomination, but… what about?
At the end of this progression (usually laced with euphemisms, rather than the actual term) you end up with a tyrannical system like (or God forbid the same) is found in Revelation, as well as a bunch of ex-evangelicals.
The Wall Street Journal Article linked to below is a prime example, advancing the “Vaccine Passports are all but certain narrative” after insisting it was the realm of conspiracy theory last year. Most vaccinated people will not defend the freedom of others because, “I already have done it, so you can do it to”, and “Why not a passport as I’m already vaccinated anyhow”.
